I am a 4^th year undergraduate student at Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi’an, China, majoring in Computer Science which is a premier Engineering Institute in China. I am interested in the field of “Image and Signal Processing and Information Theory (and Applications) ”, and I want to pursue research in this field.

I have read abstract of some of your publications and found it interesting. I am writing with reference to the possibility of obtaining internship experience under you during the period from May to July 2008 in order to gain experience to enhance my knowledge and skills in this area.

My Cumulative Performance Index (CGPA) stands at 7.8 on a scale of 10 which reflects my academic solidity.

I have a good theoretical knowledge and laboratory exposure in this field. Earlier, I did a project on Control systems (May 07 to July 07). My work involved use of Control systems in studying Cooperative Control (The details of the project are included in my resume). I have studied many publications in this field. I have a good experience of using MATLAB. I also have a good knowledge of computer languages (C++ & JAVA).

I have developed an undying interest in the field and want to carry out further research in the field.
